Maruska Lebrun is a Dutch artist who has lived in the UAE since the mid-1970's. The beautiful sunsets, the play of light and shadow in the UAE have always been a great source of inspiration for her. Most of Maruska's paintings reflect the "Arabian Heritage" theme that she has studied in great depth over the many years.

Since the 1990's Maruska's paintings have regularly been present in numerous regional and international exhibitions, and she has been the recipient of several regional awards. In 2001 Maruska became a fully-fledged professional artist, allowing her to fully dedicate herself to her passion.

Maruska's work, aside from her own collection of original art work, includes commissioned work in aquarelle and soft pastel. Some of her work is used in support of charities, such as Al Noor School for Children with Special Needs.
